Sustainable, nutritious & delicious
Leo Taylor first came to a meal with 9others in June 2021 (when there was the ‘Rule of Six’ and we had to shove two tables of five together in Kindred) and he’s coming to the Winter Party in November too.
Leo and Aaron are the co-founders of Yum Bug and they’re on a mission to show people that bugs taste good, are packed with protein and really should be your next favourite super food — not to mention less CO² produced, less land needed, less water used and the bugs can be fed off the stuff you don't eat (apple cores, potato peels etc).
Matthew was intrigued, bought some bugs and fed them to his kids without telling them what they were. Went down very well!

YumBug is now launching a restaurant so if you’re in London book in here. It’s a pop-up for three weeks and if things go well I’m sure there’ll be many more to come.
