A trusted network is something no entrepreneur should be without.
Let’s get accountable
“Accountability is the glue that ties commitment to the result.”
— Bob Proctor
As a founder, you don’t have a boss checking in on your progress. You don’t have performance reviews or quarterly targets set by someone else. You’re in charge of your own time, priorities, and execution. That’s a privilege—but also a challenge.
This is where accountability becomes a superpower.
Why Accountability Matters
It turns intentions into actions. It’s easy to tell yourself, I’ll work on that strategy doc tomorrow. It’s harder to say it to someone else and not follow through.
It helps you push through resistance. Every founder has tasks they avoid—deep work that requires thinking, making tough decisions, or doing things that don’t come naturally. Having someone expecting an update makes it easier to push through.
It builds momentum. Progress compounds when you consistently show up and do the work, week after week.
The Downside?
It exposes your excuses. When you’re accountable, there’s nowhere to hide. You can’t just say you were “too busy”—you have to own your priorities.
It can feel uncomfortable. Real accountability isn’t just about sharing wins—it’s about admitting when things aren’t moving and having people who will challenge you on that.
What Founders Can Do
“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
— African Proverb
