A trusted network is something no entrepreneur should be without.
An hour can feel like forever
On Monday, in the first Founders Focus session, we sat down to work. No distractions, no jumping between tasks. Just 50 minutes of focused effort.
And something interesting happened.
It felt like a long time—longer than an hour should.
I got through more of my task than I thought I would.
Without the session, I’d have found something else to do—procrastinated, answered emails, switched between tasks. Having other people there stopped me from doing that.
In just that first hour, I got as much done as I normally would in a full morning, maybe more. That felt good for the rest of the day.
It was intense. Hard, even.
It left me wondering: should I be working like this all the time? And is that even reasonable?
Carving out time for Deep Work
This is why we’ve created Founders Focus—to help founders carve out time for the hard things that actually move the needle. A weekly deep work session. A group that holds you accountable. A commitment to making progress, not just staying busy.
This is week 1, so I’m curious what weeks 2, 3, 10… 52 will look. What happens when a group of people, all pushing forward on their most important work, show up together?
If you’re building something and want to see what happens when you really focus, join us next Monday.
See you there
At 10am Monday, you show up. You commit. You do the work.
